day 20: Another Run\Walk

I ran\walked 2.34 miles today. I need to start running again but just was not in the mood. I'm having a hard time getting Jonathan to the Y.

I did sign up for a Running Club and Family Yoga Class.

day 19: A third of a workout

Not much today. I did a third of the Dr Oz exercises and I worked 2/3 of a mile.

day 18: Yoga in the morning

Today is a vacation day for school so I can't predict how it will go. So I got up and did a Yoga tape in the morning. I've been feeling very tight from Saturday's workout so I needed some breathing and stretching.

day 17: Quick run, quick walk

The YMCA is starting a running club and I wanted to make sure I could run a mile without stopping. I did fine. So I ran a mile and walked back.

day 16: Back to the YMCA

Jonathan and I spent about an hour at the YMCA. I did 6 cybex machines, curls, and lunges. I normally do two sets but today I did three of each. OUCH!

I also worked for about 15 to 20 minutes to warm up and when I needed a break.

day 15: Pilates and Walk

I did a two mile walk before my boys got out of bed this am. I'm glad I did.

I also did my "Pilates for Dummies" tape. I am hoping to run at the YMCA tonight but wanted to make sure I got in enough before I pick up Jonathan.

day 14: Just a little bit

Today was about as short as I would include. I took a brisk 15 minute walk at work. I hoped to do more in the evening but I was wiped out!

day 13: Excuse Busting Workout

Oprah has Dr Oz and Dr Roizen on again. I did the 20 minute "Excuse Busting" workout. It was good.

I went for a 2 mile walk also.

Ugh. I had the best intentions and even good plans. But unfortuantely I did not exercise yesterday.

day 12: Dr OZ and the 20 exercises

Thank you daylight savings time. I did the 20 minute work out recommended in Dr OZ book (You on a diet)

I went to the YMCA in the evening. Did a 5 minute walk and then 20 minute ecliptical trainer.

day 11: A two mile walk

I just got back from my standards 2 mile walk.

I did a small set of weights: calf raises, one arm rows, bench press, lateral raises, curls and dips.

day 10: Walk to the hairdresser

Saturday I did a 2 mile walk. It was a walk to Wavelength's for a haircut by Anne and then a walk home. Unfortunately I did not do any other exercises but I'm glad I got that in during the morning.

day 9: A nice long walk

Wow! What a beautiful day! I went for a 1 hour walk. It was about 3.5 miles. How do I know? I used this cool tool call Gmaps Pedometer. It is a mashup that I use all the time. Here is the route I took today.

day 8: Creative thinking to get workout in

Today I did not get to the YMCA until 9:05 at night. I did 8 machines in the cybex track and then ran\walked a mile.

The creative part was picking up my step son Matthew. He had to work until 9:00 and needed a ride home. So Alan and I took to cars to the mall, left one there, gave Matt the key and wah-la I was free as soon as Jonathan went down.

day 7: Oct 31: Try something new!

Halloween! After a presentation at work I left, went to the YMCA and did the following:
1. Swimming for 15 minutes: That is tough! Nice people though.
2. Walk\Ran for .5 miles: Alternated running and walking around the track 7 times.
3. Stetch: The YMCA just printed up 22 stretches to do. I did all except 2 odd ones.
