We hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess

I was able to catch the end of Barak's acceptance speach. Great speach but what touched me was his final line. I perked up and thought "did he just quote scripture"? And sure enough, I would say it is pretty close to Hebrews 10:23.
"And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy."

Hebrews is a great read. I hope that we can also spur one another on to love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24)

Good Choice Obama! (someone is reading my blog)

Back in April I blogged about how important the VP choice would be in my decision on who to vote for. Barak Obama nearly sealed the deal with his choice of Joe Biden. I could not be happier. Not only with the man he choose but how it appears to be best for American, not just best for his campaign.
Biden is an insider, experienced and from most indications, a man of faith. I especially like this quote from one of his friends "In times of crisis, he goes to church a lot," and ""Joe Biden is one of the most sincere Catholics I've known in my 40 years as a priest,"
It will be interesting to see what these two men of faith can do solve divisive issues like abortion, welfare\poverty, marriage rights. I will pray for the wisdom of Solomon for each of them.

Ok McCain, your turn next. I can't wait to be Wow!
