SOA Specification announced

It is with great pride that I am about to reference the announcement of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Specifications. A few developers from my team have been involved with this activity over the past few months.

Service Component Architecture (SCA) provides a model for building applications. This specification is a natural extension to the component concepts already established in much of the Web Services work.

Service Data Object (SDO) provides a simple, consistent way to handle data. The promise is to provide an easy way to manage data exchange across heterogeneous data format.
