Please pick good VP candidates
As the elections approach, I feel more and more pressure to pick my candidate. (Hey everyone the election is in NOVEMBER! I still need to find summer camps!)
My standard response is that I respect all three candidates. The most convincing action they can do is pick a VP to run with them. The selection of the VP is more then a "spare tire" in case of an emergency. To me they are showing me who they listen to, what kind of people they surround themselves with and maybe a sign of the faults they see in themselves.
I would love to see Huckabee on anyones ticket. Oh I would not only vote for but would pack up my 4 year old and campaign for a Barak-Mike ticket. Luckily that will never happen!
So Obama, you are so so young! And I appreciate your vision but show me you know you have a lot to learn. Also show me you can appreciate someone who stands on the faith in their God (instead of clinging to religion like it is last century).
Clinton, show me that you are not your husband. Show me that you have the experience to tap into from the previous administrations. Show me you put others character above eye candy.
McCain, just pick Mike! I like Mike. Ok, if not find someone who is younger in both age but much more importantly in style. Someone who we know you respect but also who can communicate what each of us needs to do to save the earth for our children.
There it is. I am firmly undecided until I see the slates! However, I can't get enough of the debates!!
