IBM a model for work environments : Anucha Sanders

I have always felt that IBM is a great place to work, especially when it comes to making people feel valued, and safe. Here is some validation from someone who has seen the opposite side of the story: Anucha Browne Sanders:

MATT LAUER: So do you think that in workplaces, businesses, corporations across America this morning, men and women are arriving at work with a changed perspective? And if you think that, how long will it last? Is this something that lasts while this story is in the headlines and then goes back into, falls back into old patterns?

Anucha Browne Sanders: Well, first, I don't believe that this happens in every environment. I think corporate America has been very progressive and I think, you know, I spent 11 years at IBM and I thought it was a fantastic work environment. And I felt like they upheld the values and the guidelines that were put in place for both women and men working in an environment.

So, but it clearly exists across industries. And it clearly existed at Madison Square Garden. So I think if anything, people are put on notice that it's, you know, there are things that are just uncalled for in the corporate space.
