Welcome Judge Roberts

I don't tend to have the best political judgment. When I first heard "Compassionate Conservative" I adored Bush. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was compassionate to take over another country nor financially conservative to so. I also liked Dick Cheney when he first debated Lieberman. Please don't even ask now.

That said, I adore Judge Roberts. I am thrilled he has been confirmed. First of all he has adopted. If that is not putting your pro-life position where your money (and time and energy and ...) is I don't know what being pro-life is.

I also love his attention to preparation. I have little respect for those who are always flying by the seat of their pants. You have to have that skill but don't rely on it all the time. His hearings were very impressive. I can't wait to see what he does on the court.
